Partners for Wichita participated in Filling the Gap this spring break on March 11, 2024. We were able to provide volunteers to help distribute the bags of food that the Kansas Food Bank provided.

Filling the Gap provides shelf stable meals to kids in Wichita and the surrounding metro area during spring break in 5 locations along with the last two weeks of summer when the USD 259 program ends. Select locations distribute a week’s worth of lunches for kids to make sure they had access to food during the time that school meals are not available.
