Partners for Wichita invites everyone to collect personal care items for people in need throughout the Wichita area. We add a blessing and deliver bags to organizations and agencies that work closely with those who are most in need. This annual project is a community-wide effort for neighbors in need.  Together we make a difference!

 

In 2024 over 1280 Bags of Blessings, filled with more than a dozen personal care items, plus many boxes of extra items were collected by about 35 congregations, groups, and individuals. The blessings were then delivered to over 35 helping places throughout the area.

 

Put "Bags of Blessings" filled with trial size essential hygiene supplies on your service calendar each year or you can donate money and we will shop for you.

 

Fill gallon-sized zipper plastic bags with one of each of these items:

 

Soap (bar or liquid), Lotion, Razor, Shampoo, Conditioner, Deodorant, Comb, Chapstick/Lip balm, Washcloth, Kleenex, Emery board or clippers, Toothpaste, Toothbrush, Shaving Cream, Bandaids (3), Adult size socks (1pair).   We prefer trial size items as many are given to the homeless and full size items makes the bags too heavy.
